One art piece at a time, Ogedengbe is leading a divergence.

Nigerian Contemporary Abstract artists born Ogedengbe Oladimeji in Lagos in 1995. He began making art and creating pieces from his very early school days. In the summer of 2016, his final year in school, he spent most of the time traveling. At some point he was in New York City where he created an art piece called Insouciance that sold for $800 without any exhibition or auction.

From political consciousness to self-awareness, MCCXLV ( /Maekli:v/ ) is painting vivid pieces that bare it all. His art works are full of stories. In his words,

MCCXLV is a conceptual abstract artist with a knack for telling stories from experiences, environment, politics and sometimes, creates beautiful works of art from imagination. The 23-year-old Nigerian started out with a piece inspired by a break-up and has gone on to create up to 30 works of art accredited to him including murals that speak to leadership, society and a call for divergent reasoning.

His artworks boldly tell tales of the extensive creative reasoning and vibrant energy that that have gone into creating the pieces. From putting pieces together to create a story, setting rules to guide the project to painting and analyzing the final piece, the process takes MCCXLV an average of 30 days to create a masterpiece.
